A teardrop of natural turquoise in vivid blues and greens, run through with earthy brown matrix, set in a plain sterling silver bezel with a sterling silver bail — a clean setting that leaves the stone's own colour and character to do the talking. The pendant measures about 1 inch tall and half an inch at its widest, on a stainless steel chain with a 2 inch extender for an adjustable 16 to 18 inch length. Every natural stone varies in colour, matrix and marking, so this one is one of one.

Hand-finished in the J. Ruth studio. Stones are individually selected and bezel-set by hand. Every piece is made with sterling silver or hypoallergenic gold-plated stainless steel.
